Tilke Wouters is an activist slam poet and talks about themes as gender, sexuality, mental health and the broken system. She lets personal situations inspire her and dreams about how we can improve individually and as a society. Slam poetry and spoken word are her medium to share insights and open people’s minds. In 2018 she started her own poetry organization Slam-T with a friend. Besides her performances, Tilke is busy in many other projects like the Safe(r) Space Manifesto she wrote and her journey of making the world more inclusive. She participates in projects as Cut To Gent, IDAHOT, KnowHate, Queer Space, Festival of Equality and is also co-organisator of the Queer Pride.
